The cabinets have some scratches, scuffs, and marks. The speakers have just been refoamed and are now fully functional. The speakers have no issues, and no distortion. There are a couple dents on the edges and corners as seen. Large advent speaker serial numbers. The speakers are in excellent condition with some signs of wear.
- Apr 30, 2016 But Windows 10 then states the best driver is already installed. If I uninstall the Windows 8 driver and restart my computer, Windows 10 installs the native Microsoft driver (Renesas USB 3.0 extensible host controller version 1.0) and everything is working fine, until I.
- Jul 08, 2018 To fix the problem, you can try downloading the Renesas USB 3.0 driver manually. You can visit the PC or the motherboard manufacturer’s website and download the chipset drivers. To download the correct drivers, you need to know the PC model or the motherboard model, and the version of Windows 10 (see How to Get Operating System Version).

Renesas Usb 3 Driver Windows 10
Firmware and Driver Updates to NEC(Renesas) USB 3.0, plus controller-unloading fix
Problem: NEC ( now Renesas ) USB 3.0 controller droppingun-loading it self from device manager.
My ASUS U3S6 card had this problem, since the firmware update the hub controller has not droppedun-loaded at all. As of 8/2/2010, ASUS did not have the update on their support site.
Solution: Firmware update to Version 3.0.2.5.x.x
From Readme.txt file:
CHANGES IN THIS RELEASE
Version 3.0.2.5
[New functions or enhancements]
- Mass Storage Class UAS (USB Attached SCSI) is supported.
[Problem fixes]
-Added the workaround of xHCI Driver Unload Problem.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED
[Windows Vista and Windows 7 and Windows XP]
1. On the Start menu, click All Programs, NEC Electronics,
USB3.0 Host Controller Driver, and then USB3.0 Hsot Controller Utility.
2. Show USB3.0 Host Controller Information. If 'Firmware Version' is 3025,
you succeed in updating FW.
You can find the updates at various sites on the web, but here are a couple:
Lenovo support
Station-drivers < The one I used (Windows version)
Disclaimer: You flash your hardware at your own risk.
EDIT:
There is a new driver version for the NEC/Renesas USB 3.0 and it can be downloaded here @ Intel's download center:USB 3.0: Renesas Electronics* USB 3.0 Driver (Version 2.1.28.0)
or

This is for an Alienware X51 Desktop.
I ran the upgrade assistant and it showed no issues for me to upgrade to Windows 8.
I performed a clean install from DVD and everything was recognized fine except the Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller.
Dell has Windows 8 drivers for the USB 3 on the website so I tried to install them and get a code 10 device could not start. So I tried the Windows drivers from Windows update and same thing.
I have uninstalled, and disabled and restarted so many times. The renesas electronics website is useless.
I really do use my USB 3.0 and it may be a deal breaker for Windows 8 do you have any suggestions?
The sad thing is this is my job, I am deskside support for my company and I can't find an answer, which leads me to believe that this isn't fixable right now, and maybe has to wait until a later date when new drivers are put out.
